Who am I?

Hi, I’m Amber - the artist behind A. Perez Design Studio.

My work lives somewhere between soft stillness and wild light. I’m drawn to the quiet beauty of animals, open spaces, and everyday magic. Whether it’s a digital painting or a messy sketch at my desk, I create from the heart.. often with a baby on my hip and a dog at my feet.

A. Perez Design Studio is my creative home: a place for art, storytelling, and handmade pieces that invite you to slow down and look closer. From desert wildlife to dreamy color palettes, I try to capture the feeling of a moment, not just the image.

I’m a Texas-born artist, a mom of two girls, and a lifelong lover of animals and nature. My background in pet care and museum work, along with a deep love for the land and the creatures on it, inspires much of what I make, blending the rustic with the reflective.
